Anas ibn Malik (r.a.) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would pass by young boys and greet them with peace.

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ  أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلَى غِلْمَانٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ
