It's good that they got Gaddafi, let people rejoice that Libya and the rest of the Middle East is free of him and his ways However, I would like to point out that a person just died here. I understand he may have been a terrible person and leader/dictator, but I wonder how it would have been like if they gone ahead and tried him in court. Anyway, just some thoughts. What I'm saying is yes be glad he is gone, but it's still somewhat sad. Again, just my opinion.

For 40 years of tyranny, in the end he still died. Everyone has to die and it’s sad he did not understand this, but I appreciate and acknowledge your opinion. Dragging his dead body around was harsh I think, but people are angry. And if he had tried in the UN court, would those Libyans have been given justice? Just like Radovan Karadzic, who killed 8,000 Bosnian Muslims, and yet is still enjoying life in a fairly comfy prison stall and continues to stall his court hearing. That’s the UN for you. Gaddafi’s death reminds me of some hadiths:

On the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) related:

A man said: By Allah, Allah will not forgive So-and-so. At this Allah the Almighty said: Who is he who swears by Me that I will not forgive So-and-so? Verily I have forgiven So-and-so and have nullified your (own good) deeds.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

‘When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him: My mercy prevails over my wrath.”

It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, an-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah).

At the end of the day, we do not judge Gaddafi, and cannot, Allah is all merciful and the judging is only to be done by Him.

As the statement was made in Britain about Gaddafi’s death, murmurs of Allahuakbar were called behind the Libyan Ambassador. SubhanAllah. Alhamdulillah. Allahuakbar. Allah is truly the greatest, and to him shall we all return. Everyone make Du’aa for the new Libya, and that the people of Libya, or anyone for that matter, may never again be oppressed, murdered and weakened again. And remember those who are left, Syria where the Baath regime are still targeting young children, Palestine a modern prison, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and so many more in the Middle East, and every other part, or person, or people of our Ummah who need our Dua’s and Prayers. All Praise is due to Allah, the Most High.

LIBYA UPDATE

As somebody reported - “We have been getting countless calls from FF inside Tripoli asking for orders and support as the GF are hitting them hard.” A massacre is taking place and support is needed urgently. Troops from outside the city are coming. 450 prisoners have been freed from tagura.
The time to pray is now guys…may Allah help them..:’(
